Environs International is an international, independent network organisation that is geared to all types of market and opinion surveys, but specialises in a number of specialist markets.

The agency was established in 1996, with initial emphasis being on energy, the environment, mobility and sustainability. With the arrival of Jaap Voorsluijs in 1999 the spectrum broadened to include agriculture and market gardening – from seed to bouquet – and food and health for humans and animals – green, caring and sustainable environments.

At Environs we concentrate on a number of markets and areas that we really understand. And people, target groups and markets are always paramount for us. Markets and target groups, each with a unique environment, with special features and backgrounds that you must be very familiar with in order to understand them completely.

This is why we work exclusively with experienced researchers and consultants with specific market or professional knowledge. The hub of this network is Jaap Voorsluijs, formerly the general manager of agrimarketing and quality manager for many years at a well known market research agency and active in the administration of professional market research (MOA BkB) and the marketing of agri and food (NIMA Food & Agrimarketing).

Environs guarantees its clients: “who you see is who you get” and that “who” is always an experienced researcher. Each project is controlled by the same person from the first contact, with the result being a high level of involvement, far-reaching insight, clear responsibilities, short lines and less noise. In addition, for the support services we make use of suppliers that are affiliated to the Nederlandse Marktonderzoek Associatie (MOA) and/or ESOMAR and therefore subscribe to the quality requirements of these professional organisations.

We recently worked for businesses including well known producers of foodstuffs and cold beverages, publishers of professional journals, domestic and foreign promotion organisations, innovation consultants, commodity boards, professional associations, seed companies, agro-chemistry, technical suppliers for agriculture and market gardening, pharmaceuticals companies, cultivators, hauliers (fresh produce – food distribution) and organisations operating in the field of training and the provision of staff.
